UK-based Dr Linda O’Raw, academic and foster carer, is known for vigorously advocating for the rights of Looked After Children, and has continued to do so throughout the pandemic.

In this video, Dr O’Raw details the challenges Looked After Children and foster carers face, and the additional burden placed on them by restrictive pandemic mitigation measures.

Of particular concern are the deprioritisation of the children’s needs and the continuing denial of contact between Looked After Children and their birth families.
