Dr Irfan Malik, a senior GP in Nottingham in the UK, has spoken to the press about how virtual consultations have impacted the treatment of non-COVID conditions. Cancer is among the most serious missed diagnoses, but the effect is apparent across diagnostic categories, especially mental health.

In a conversation with Collateral Global, Dr Malik expresses concern about the push towards fewer in-person consultations and the effect this change will have on health outcomes, particularly for the elderly and other vulnerable groups.
