My Dad died alone

My Dad also died alone, afraid and not surrounded by family.  2 months after being diagnosed with Covid he passed.   He was given remdesiver, was isolated and we were not given updates on his status. We had no idea if they were even taking care of him.  My Mom, his wife of 65 years never got to be there when he passed.   We said our goodbyes over the phone.   
The collective trauma of this negligence will be with us forever.   Shame on our healthcare system and those who created this mess.
