Acute Heart Failure after vaccination
I was 47 years old and hadn’t yet had COVID, to my knowledge. My mother in law was living with my family. I was under the impression that vaccination might prevent the spread of the virus, so I got immunized. My hope was that if I did get infected, I would shed less virus and my mother in law might have a smaller chance of getting a lethal infection. I was under the impression that the mRNA vaccines were safe. I was under the impression that the mRNA somehow stayed in the muscle and didn’t travel systemically.
I decided to get immunized. After the first dose, I had fever, muscle pains, and malaise for a few days. I wanted to wait more than 4 weeks to get the second dose, but was told that my planned 4 week dose would go to waste. I decided to get the second vaccine at 4 weeks, even though studies in mice suggest that it is best to wait longer if you want a more robust memory cell number (the goal of immunization).
After the second dose, I developed fever, myalgias, and malaise. About 1 week after immunization, I developed severe peripheral edema, 30 pound weight gain, and shortness of breath with activity. I noticed that I had intermittent atrial fibrillation. My suspicion was that I either had a pulmonary embolus or myocarditis. I did not have the money to have this evaluated at a medical facility. I just waited it out, stopped caffeine for a bit, and gradually improved.
If I had known the true numbers of serious side effects that the vaccine caused and if I knew that the vaccine distributes throughout the body, I would have never received it. The vaccine hurt me and my family. It did not help. Information about the severe side effects of the mRNA vaccines were suppressed and lied about.
